Miami Hurricanes fans had to expect Monday to be oozing with national media buffoonery in wake of a “controversial” last-second upset over Duke, which Vishnu surgically broke down here.

There’s anti-Miami bias and once one clown like Paul Finebaum jumps aboard it becomes a bandwagon in a hurry.

The latest is ESPN reporter Heather Dinich appearing to have proposed quite the maniacal solution if we’re going to disregard all but six seconds of a 60-minute football game.

You may want to sit down and have a drink before digesting this boiling take.

No, Heather. No.

And no shit Miami forfeiting is not going to be the case to your knowledge, Mr. Swofford.

If we’re going to venture into the “make it right” chatter, Miami got hosed on Duke’s final touchdown drive after losing the penalty ratio 23-5. They lost a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on a bogus call over a decade ago.

Make it right! Please.
