The Miami Dolphins are such a fiasco it seems everyone is lobbing grenades at the team’s expense these days. As they should after the owner alluded to them being Miami’s top team in the preseason — “capturing the imagination of the whole fan base.”
ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat, which takes place in suburban Orlando, poked fun at the Dolphins during this week’s episode when one character asks another if the Dolphins will make the playoffs.
“Don’t bet on the Dolphins, not with that secondary.”

Note: We have been informed the show is set in 1995, so they were making fun of that team, which finished 9-7 and lost in the first round of the playoffs. Their secondary featured Troy Vincent, J.B. Brown, Michael Stewart and Gene Atkins and it was the last year of the Don Shula Era.
