Mike Wilbon is a bitter old man who can’t seem to unyoke the Miami hatred from of his teeth.
After suggesting the Miami Hurricanes have their win against Duke REVERSED despite the referees reviewing the call on the field that led to the most miraculous play in college football this season, Wilbon was asked by the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson — by text — if he would also call for the overturning of the Jaguars’ win over the Ravens. The NFL admitted they made a key officiating error in the final seconds that directly correlated to a Jacksonville win.
Jackson asked all five of the ESPN commentators who publicly called for a Duke win (Wilbon, David Pollack, Scott Van Pelt, Robert Smith and Mike Greenberg).
Only Wilbon said he would: “Tony [Kornheiser] and I both said definitively that the NFL should declare the Ravens the winner and cited Miami vs. Duke in the argument,” Wilbon texted. “I get why Miami folks don’t want to hear [people calling for the ACC to overturn the win], though I hardly give a [bleep]. LOL.”
We don’t give a bleep about you either, Wilbon. Stay warm this winter.
