The Miami Marlins — from the owner waaaaay on down through whoever is unfortunate enough to be running their Twitter account — are completely out of touch with reality.
The organization that holds fire sales, trades their best players, steals taxpayer money and generally treats what little fans they have left like absolute poo pulled a classic Marlins move on Wednesday night after Mike Piazza was voted into the Hall of Fame along with Ken Griffey Jr.
The Marlins tweeted about it, saying “Once a
#MarlinsAlum, always a #MarlinsAlum.”

Piazza was a Marlin for five games after getting traded a week after they acquired him. FIVE.
He was a member of this dreadful franchise for 0.003 percent of his 1,912-game career. The negative reaction was understandable.
