Dan Marino was seen taking a good look at the quarterbacks during Senior Bowl practices this week, notes Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole, as he becomes more engrossed in football operations for the Miami Dolphins.

“He’s becoming more and more involved with the Dolphins from the personnel side of the operation,” Cole said. “He had originally been part of the PR side of the operation, brought in by owner Stephen Ross to help with all sorts of off-the-field kinds of actions. However, increasingly Marino is going to become part of the football operations in hopes of perhaps working his way into a more executive role there.”

Cole also said Executive Vice President of Football Operations Mike Tannenbaum and GM Chris Grier are “as happy as can be” that Marino is getting more involved.
