A Florida Man was caught not in the act of a bank robbery itself but minutes later while trying to get a bus ticket out of town.

Yes, James T. Alexander didn’t think this one through. At least we hope he didn’t. The Panama City News Herald has more:

James T. Alexander, 38, was arrested Thursday morning after witnesses identified him as the man who walked into the Trustmark Bank, 509 Harrison Ave., at about 10 a.m. and handed bank tellers a note demanding cash. Panama City Police Department officers caught up to Alexander about 20 minutes later as he was buying a bus ticket bound for his hometown of New Orleans.

I don’t necessarily believe this man is from Louisiana. He’s got Florida Man written all over him. Now that he’ll be rotting away in a Florida prison, the transformation will be completed.
