Burnie is the best mascot in South Florida sports for many reasons.
The Miami Heat’s “anthropomorphic depiction of the fireball featured on the team’s logo,” (per his Wikipedia) has been known to eat fans’ popcorn and hump sexy fans.
While attempting to somersault jump over a slew of other Miami mascots during tonight’s Sixers-Heat game — it’s also Burnie’s birthday — the fireball with the green basketball nose came up short, crushing Stanley C. Panther’s nether regions in the process.
When the Heat mascot nearly killed other mascots. Mascot EPIC FAIL https://t.co/PupuzJTebN

Burnie just obliterated Stanley C. Panther's nut sack during a timeout while trying to do a front flip over 10 mascots that were lying down
