If you thought the Atlanta Hawks’ new uniforms were corny, wait ’til your eyes lock on the threads just unveiled by the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Miami Heat’s D-League affiliate from the lovely state of North Dakota.
Now don’t be too harsh on the Heat’s little brother to the northwest because the proceeds from the alternate jersey sales — all two or three of them — will go directly to Feeding South Dakota, a hunger relief organization. They were created in honor of something called Corn Week.
My question: why not go all-out? Why hold back? That getup should be neck-to-knee corn yellow. Forget the damn green husk.
Buy your corny Jabril Trawick jersey for $250 (!) here.
