It appears the Miami Heat bandwagon is slowly but surely adding members of the national media.
In March, Amin Elhassan doubled down on the Heat to win the East after becoming the only ESPN analyst to make that bold prediction before the season.
Now fellow ESPN-er Brad Daugherty wants to make it a party of two.
“I think they’re a legitimate threat to the Cavs,” ESPN’s Brad Daugherty said after Miami destroyed Charlotte in Game 1. “I do… Because the Cavs have no answer for Whiteside when he starts playing at the level he’s capable of playing at it. This young man is on the verge of being a superstar. They have no answer for him. They can match up pretty well with the Cavs and maybe have a little more depth. It would be an interesting game.”
There’s plenty of time to fill up the bandwagon as Miami is still seven wins away from a potential clash with LeBron James and the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals.
