It’s been a ROUGH afternoon for Kenny Stills.
First, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver kneels during the national anthem as a sign of protest, joining teammates Arian Foster, Michael Thomas and Jelani Jenkins — on the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
Then he drops the best thrown deep ball of Ryan Tannehill’s career in extremely embarrassing fashion, coughing up seven points in the process. The Dolphins would’ve went into the half up 10-6 against a team that has lost at home just five times in four years.
Instead, Stills was appropriately and hilariously eviscerated on Twitter.
Kenny Stills, drop it like it's hot 🔥😳 https://t.co/LigUeLojTJ

An extreme hot take.
I wonder if Kenny Stills’ long TD drop was at all related to diatraction and anxiety of pregame anthem protest participation
