Why didn’t Marlins Man head to Cleveland last night for Game 7 of the World Series?

He feared for his life while attending an Indians game the day after Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

“As I walked around the stadium I was constantly abused and threatened by people screaming out, like ‘F-U Marlins Man… if we see you in the parking lot we’re gonna kill you. I have a gun in my truck, I’m gonna blow your head off, you have the nerve coming here. I’m gonna cut off your balls,'” Marlins Man said on the Ethan Skolnick Show on 790 the Ticket. “And it got worse and worse and worse to the point they began accosting me trying to tear the jersey off of me, trying to take the visor off of my head.”

Stay classy, Cleveland.

He went on to say it was “the first time in my life I left a stadium because I was in fear.”

The threats popped up again on social media when the Indians made the playoffs and the man clad in an orange Marlins jersey who’s attended hundreds of high-profile sporting events in recent years decided it wasn’t worth it.

Double “M” declared he “hopes there’s a Marlins Man curse for generations.”

There goes “the land’s” sports revival.
