Yesterday I attempted to record a podcast episode with Miami Hurricanes savant Vishnu Parasuraman (@VRP2003) only it did not go as planned.

Technical difficulties were abound and half of it wasn’t recorded but we did get a 12-minute chunk of quality audio out of it that included one sweltering take sure to thrust Canes fans into ecstasy.

“Miami will beat Florida State in Tallahassee in the third game of the season,” Vishnu boldly proclaimed without any coercing from the podcast’s host. “How about that? Win by double digits.

Even if Florida State gets blown out by Alabama in Week 1 and Miami coasts past their first two cupcakes to start the season, a Miami win on the road over FSU would be a shocker and a game-changer for the program, considering the last Canes victory in that matchup came in 2009, though it feels like it was much longer than that.

We also discussed the abhorrence of Nick Saban, that shark-humping¬†Jim McElwain at Florida, and quarterback N’kosi Perry’s outlook this season. Give it a listen below.
